You have been invited to participate in a request for proposal (RFP) to developed a SaaS-based software application using Microsoft technologies.

The attached RFP explains more about the application, its business purpose and technology requirements. I sincerely appreciate you reviewing the RFP, and if our needs match your firm's capabilities and focus I would welcome a proposal.

On response process and timeline, we are employing a three step down-select approach. In step one, all interested firms are asked to submit their firm's capabilities and experience. For those selected to proceed onto step two, system design documents will be provided by which interested firms can assemble a preliminary proposal. From this pool, upwards of five vendors move into step three, and they will receive additional design documents from which to submit a firm proposal.

PLEASE NOTE THAT STEP ONE RESPONSE IS DUE THURSDAY, DECEMBER 18TH, AT 3PM PACIFIC TIME.
