Need a clone of http://www.eventbrite.com/. Standalone and to intigrate into a niche' website I already operate.
Payment processors will include paypal and google checkout.
In addition to the features of the above
searchable by distance. ie: enter zip code or country code or country or state or city and display events by distance.
searchable by categories
Searchable by event owner (account)
interested people can create an account then search/browse the events closest to them.
Event owners will receive confirmation of paid tickets as well as an attendance report via the web and downloadable in XLS and DOC format.
Event owners will have newsletter capability to paid tickets.
Event owners can offer discount coupon codes.
a complete accounting summary of current event as well as past events.
A complete attendance list for the event owner via the web, text email and downloadable format in excel and DOC format options.
Admin features:
Ability to add extra fields to event listings.
offer discount codes
complete geographic and category control
adjust commissions based on ticket prices as well as attendance levels
Adjust the display of events geographically based on the browers zip code or IP.
reminders of event via email to purchasers. Time frame adjustable.
Future event mailings based on interests.

the successful bidder MUST be intuitive and have great attention to details. Speak excellent English and have good communication skills.
Be available to communicate via yahoo during decent hours (US time).
1) I require complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done (so that I may modify it in the future).
2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables):
2a) Any website server-side deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment.
2b) All other software (including but not limited to any desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute) must include a software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request (unless specified elsewhere by the Buyer).
3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased.
3b) No part of the deliverable may contain any copyright restricted 3rd party components (including GPL, GNU, Copyleft, etc.) unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the seller's Seller Legal Agreement.
Additional Info (Added 12/10/2008 at 14:22 EST)...Our budget is negotiable.
The listed budget is based on research from "other" freelance projects based on the same outline and what is available pre-packaged for outright purchase (including source code)
We are well aware this project will not require re-inventing the wheel as there are many elements to this project that are already freely available.
Understanding this, if you can come close we can talk.
Additional Info (Added 12/10/2008 at 14:24 EST)...to answer a few questions:
We are looking at a 60-90 day window
We have a site in development and seek a script that can be plugged into an existing site. I'll also add that our site can also be designed to fit within the design of this project.
At present we operate a membership site with event support. at present we handle from 10 to 5000 attendees. This project should be based on the idea of unlimited attendees and event listings however. Code should be clean efficient and based on MYsql.
Anyone can create an event pending approval from admin and, some members will be given the privilege of pre-approval.
Featured events will be chosen based on several factors as chosen by the admin. cost paid upon listing event or commission paid and or simply chosen by admin. Several options selected by admin will select featured events.
Complete geographical control means events can be admin designated as "local" (within 150 miles from attendee) regional (within 500 miles) national, global etc. Also consider this will be available worldwide to all countries of the world. Many options will be based on fees paid and admin selected.
I like the look and feel of http://demo.helioscalendar.com/events/index.php?com=detail&eID=2&year=2008&month=12
however, it does not include a payment module.
