This is a web application project where students should be able to make their desired class schedule based on the courses, sections, timings and professors available for on the website.
There should be a simple search where they can see classes in a sequence of Department, courses, and sections or advanced search where students should be able to specify courses only on certain days, times and with certain professors.
A student should be able to see multiple schedules if they choose different courses but any section, but only one final schedule if he specifies a certain section of a class.
There should be prompts in case of clashes of two classes and options to modify to fit that class in a schedule.
The final schedule should be in a well organized table format where there should be timings on the left most column, I will be uploading a sample php file of the what the class schedule may look like.
For Front end: you may use HTML and JavaScript.
For Middle end: you may use PHP for server side scripting
For Back end: you may use MySQL and XML for parsing is must.
Note: We want this project to be a in a simple interface and not too fancy!!
I would like to have working project in about max 2 to 3 days.
Also included is a rough xml draft,you can use that as a reference.
