Easy Quick Project for the right programmer who is experienced with XML Feeds... I need a site created that will take Hotels.Com affiliate XML feed and populate my site using static search engine friendly urls! The affiliate site for Hotels.com is ian.com it's free to sign up so please do so and familiarize your self with the different integration techniques. This is a very simple straight forward site where you will Import the Hotels to a Directory Type Structure website that visitors can click destinations and drill down to the location they are interested in (Mainly For The Search Engines To Spider The Site) each page throughout the site at the top will have the hotels.com search box for ease of search for visitors. Simple but nice design.. Here is what I need the site to do other than the import..

Site will be a packages script with simple install as it will be installed on multiple domains..

Admin

Admin section will be very simple also, the admin just needs to enter the CID number which is the affiliate id number which will append to each link to that individual hotel for credit. Admin can change the site theme easily through templates (there should only be 3 templates, index, search results, and property detail) Everything is populated from the XML feed.. Now, the site will use all static search engine friendly urls sing mod re-write however, the meta information will be dynamic and the admin can edit the template to include the meta details like title, description, and keywords also can include other tags if needed such as content, copyright whatever.. Noww, also on the template page admin can edit the layout for H1 tags, alt tags, etc.. using snippets.. For example, where the Main Hotel Image would be I could edit the alt tag and include snippet {hotel_name} and that would pull in the name of the hotel, or the Very First H1 tag would be <h1>{hotel_name} and that would display on the front end.. I also need the site to include breadcrumb navigation and pagination.. The whole site will be self sufficient when Once set up it needs nothing else..

It truly is a simple site that just pulls in the hotels fusing the hotels.com simple xml process.. Now, just to be clear, there is a VERY advanced way that you can use the hotels.com xml system but we are just using it to populate the site and a dynamic link that includes the CID when clicked the visitor leaves to the Hotels.com site.. They do make it to where the site could handle all booking ect.. but we do not want that one on this time around.. I you prove to be an excellent programmer, we can move in that direction but this is it for now..

This process took my last programmer literally 4 hours to do but he has since passed away and I am looking for a new long term Offshore development team who I can also use on many of my outsourced projects later using the lates web technologies such as LAMP, css, xhtml, etc..

Site must be 100% W3C Compliant and utilize css and xhtml with maybe a small amount of Ajax.. Whatever makes it easiest for you...

Site must also produce a sitemap to include all pages throughout the site. Sitemap should also be generated for google, and yahoo and each time the site is updated which admin will click update button or you can automate this to check ian site to drop any hotels or pick up any new ones.. If automated should be done Nightly at 3am EST

Also, If you feel the XML solution is not the best you can decide which is easiest for you... I would like to use an ajax type Image Viewer if it's easy enough for viewing hotel photos...
