- Description: We are looking for help to harvest web site data from a couple of classifieds sites.
Expect text and binary (image) data. Retrieved data needs to be easily repositioned. (ie, strip HTML, CR/LFs, stored appropriately, etc) Expect both non-English and English sites. Only certain categories are to be harvested. Using http://web-harvest.sourceforge.net would be good; open to PERL/SQL type solutions too.
