We require a Joomla module/component/plugin to keep track of the packages installed and uninstalled on a particular website. The module should create a database that houses the following information from each package's install XML file: Install version, type, group, name, author, creationDate, copyright, license, authorEmail, authorUrl, Joomla version and description. It should also contain the install date, serial number or license number of purchased software and username-password combinations for the author's/seller's website.
The goal of this project is to capture, in one location, a record of what packages are installed on a particular site, and produce a timeline and history of changes to the system.

This is necessary for us as we currently run in excess of a dozen Joomla-based sites and our written records are not being kept-up-to date.
