Need a functioning website clone of tempe<dot>com community portal. We're not sure what CMS is being used to manage it, but it's PHP/MySQL for sure.
Would like to manage this through either Joomla or something else, whatever they're using and customized to work the same way.
DIRECTORY:
Sample data in the database should contain a sample business listing as well with a follow-through link for additional information (as in their directory). Pictures (as an option for the business listing) as well as the "Special Offers" section of the business directory where an offer.php script is ran to display a Coupon for the business. Keep in mind, coupons and special offers should be timed to expire after so long, etc. The "User Reviews" section is NOT required.
Businesses should be able to update their own listing after logging into the website (i.e. whatever CMS is being used there).
Sample business data consists of the following fields (for basic information):

Because additional information will be stored in the database, additional fields can be added to flag whether the listing is an "upgraded" listing, etc. or additional tables can be created.
Basic directory results can be "upgraded" where the business can be listed like they are (with lots of additional details) on the tempe<dot>com web site. Basic listings do -not- show the website (if available in the data) and only shows up if they are an upgraded listing.
Listing Types:
BASIC - What's currently in the database results (no web site though)
UPGRADED - Business is listed at the top of the results (like with the directory of burbank<dot>com which may include the business logo and when clicked will take you to a sub-page like the results of tempe<dot>com.
The main features needed are:
1) The management of the site (Need CMS and Custom Template)
2) Sample data populated to fulfill a similar directory based on the information above.
3) The ability for a business member to log in and update their listing information.
4) Run promotions / coupons for the business.
Calendar, Travel and Real Estate sections will be added later probably as a continuational 'project'. So if this goes well, there will certainly be more work in the future.
In order to fully understand what we're referring to about the necessary steps needed to complete this job, please provide a detailed summary of how you would start and complete this project.
