    Description: I need help with starting a project. I need most of the application to be classes that control the com and video operations so i can easily modify the application. I would like the app to be coded in VB.net because that is what i am most familiar with. This project must be windows vista compatible.

    This app needs to play full screen Mpeg2 or if another format is recommended then please submit it and I will take it under consideration. It will receive a serial number from a com port device and play an mpeg2 movie file associated with that serial number. If a second serial number is received before the mpeg is finished then the current mpeg will stop and the new mpeg will start. It needs to be Full Screen playback the entire time.. An escape key should stop the full screen playback and return to the form window. Before and after mpegs are playing it should play default mpeg on a loop. This will be an attraction sequence.

    The com port will be connected to a RFID Reader. At any given point there could be up to 5 RFID tags within range of the reader. The one with set priority should play. And keep playing even though the reader keeps spitting out other numbers as long as it is playing the mpeg with priority.
    List of associated movies should be in a priority order. If more than one serial number is present within 3 seconds of the other. The one if priority should prevail. So, before it changes mpegs it needs to listen for at least 3 seconds between unique serial numbers. If the serial number is not unique in that 3 second time then it is ignored for other serial numbers that may be incoming. The 3 second listening time should be adjustable.
    Serial number example format will be: 000006C814F4D6 <lf> or <cr>
    Setting needed on form page:
    * Default attraction movie.
    * List of movies and associated serial numbers
    ----------
    * com port
    * baud
    * bit
    * stop
    * Listen Time
    * Start button

    The app will need 1 form windows for settings and start.
