We require a clone site of Woot.com, but with different colors and added functionality. This should be designed with a basic site and plug ins to allow for additional functions and features to be added as required.
We know there might be similar applications available for free or low cost on the web but we need a custom look with scope for specific plug ins as we proceed.
1.Look and Feel Design
The intention is that we will provide a Look and Feel design for some basic pages. The designer will need to include/optimize tables and pages, and determine the total pages required to complete the work.
2.Functionality
The website should function largely with dynamic data from the database. It should allow Admin to upload in advance several products which shall be displayed per a present calendar. The Main page should provide for ad space similar to woot.
3.Main Website
This should be designed to look identical to Woot with similar font, but with our color scheme and logos..
4.Customer Profile
This should be a dynamic section with administration in the back end by the admin or a defined user. Customer shall be able to save credit card or billing information on site for future use.
5.Mailing List
This should be a dynamic section with administration in the back end by the admin or a defined user.
News Letters and emails to be sent to Customers when required.
6.Back end Administration
This should be a dynamic section with administration in the back end by the admin or a defined user.
This section should have the facility to setup/manage multiple users and set permissions to each user for access of a specific number of sections. This section should be used to add new plug ins and manage all features and functions of the website.
7.Programming
I think this site should be programmed in Jooml, but am open to other ideas if you suggest – and can support your reasons. I am using this site to sell products and am hopeful to be able to make it as seo friendly as possible-all programming to be of high standard, well commented and error free. The use of Source Code encoding is to be allowed for and this will be done by the web master prior to uploading. All source code will be the property of the webmaster once payment is made in full. The programmer must allow for testing, error correction and optimization. Programming Details for creation of future plugins will also be required from the programmer.
