We require the building of a web interface to price out internet connections for sale based on the location of the entered address. The requestor will enter their address on our website, and in turn our website you will develop will pass information to our vendor partners. Pricing will be requested and returned via API's (PM me for details). Our initial requirement is for approximately 4 different vendor API's for pricing out internet access, but future plans will call for expanded categories.
We have to capture all contact information that the prospective customer enters as well as the pricing information returned via the API. We currently use salesforce.com for our CRM, so we are looking to capture this information using the salesforce web to lead platform (some basic info is here… http://blogs.salesforce.com/marketing/2007/03/capturing_leads.html, or you can develop a feed through the salesforce API - http://www.salesforce.com/us/developer/docs/api/index.htm).
The information submitted to the API is only related to address and service, so you will have to develop a means to output all of the requestor information to a webfile, wait for the API to return the information, and then have this information feed into salesforce.
