| Not familiar with Quick Books, but I assume from your job posting it has an export feature that can dump the data to Excel or Access. The system would work as follows: you download the data to an Excel template, you press a button that runs VBA code to re-organize data and then you view the reports on separate tabs. Since this is my first freelance (been doing it at my day job for 10 yrs), I'll set-up the template and write the code at low cost. You get what you need and I get the experience.

| Well... it can be done, once you have a way to extract data from the accounting database.
It's usually not a goot idea to take a low-end/cheap accounting programm as the core software of your company, and then make plugins to force it to enable data extraction.
The cleanest way to do that would be to have an SQL version of a business program that would enable external reporting and extension.
Do you know the internal storage format or is there an ODBC/OLEDB driver for direct access ?

| Hi, I'm a Certified Public Accountant here in the Philippines and I had recently programmed a GL software (that is linked to the Subsidiary Ledger, and Check Voucher Systems) which has a built-in Balance Sheet and Income Statement Reports.
I previously handled functional config of SAP MM (which comprises the procurement cycle)
I'd be working on MS Access on your project (using macro, event driven commands).
