Description: |
Hi,
I have an Excel spreadsheet with two columns each containing lists of files and file paths (e.g. c:\please\helpme.doc). I need a simple way of identifying if the same file path is listed in both Column A and Column B, and if so deleting both cells and shifting the data up so there are no blanks in the rows.
For example:
Column A Column B
c:\a.doc c:\c.doc
c:\b.doc c:\a.doc
c:\c.doc c:\e.doc
c:\d.doc
c:\f.doc
Becomes:
Column A Column B
c:\b.doc c:\e.doc
c:\d.doc
c:\f.doc
The easier this is to work with the happier I would be. If it could be done as an executable file that I can point to the Excel file I need to work with, that would be perfect!
