To be considered for this project you would ideally be familiar with Jomres Joomla reservations component.
If a user books a room the room is then marked as provisionally booked and no longer appears in the 'available' list. The colour on the booking calendar shows the room as 'provisionally booked'
This system is fine for online payments which take a deposit immediately BUT I only use offline payment. I have found that users are happy to book but reluctant to pay, resulting in many rooms becoming unavailable for others to book BUT not having been paid for either.
The project is to edit the code to make booked rooms unavailable (as if unbooked) ONLY after admin has added the paid amount to the booking. The language file can be edited from 'Provisional' to 'Not Yet Paid' BUT the rooms must still be available for others to book.
This means that anyone else could go ahead and also book the rooms, with the first person to pay being successful.
