Hi,
I need the translation of the Gnumeric spreadsheet (http://www.gnome.org/projects/gnumeric/) from its today programming language to Delphi 6. The result must be usable in Delphi like a VCL component, which implies that every function (copy, paste, print preview, graphs) must be accessible by using classical Delphi methods. In fact, the final result gives a better spreadsheet than the Formula One one that exists in this release of Delphi and which have too many leaks and bugs.
The final result must support localization and especially French. The translation of the messages is support by me.
My needs and requirements about the project are :
The full gnumeric software with a Delphi 6 source code.
The full source code.
A Delphi component, that I can install in Delphi 6, with all the methods and the properties of the Formula One component that exists at the moment in Delphi 6. Why this point ? Because I have an existing program that uses Formula One, with some new features, and those feature are native with GNumeric and GNumeric seems to have very less bugs.
It is not in my mind to resell the new component created as component. It's only for use in my project.
I want this in Delphi, because it's a language I can read...
I want this in Delphi 6, because it's the licence I have...
Of Course higher version are welcome but the project MUST compile easy with Delphi 6.
