We are very busy managing world wide IP & IT assets and would like to completely off-load web crawler work on an on-going basis to a competent reliable sub-contractor. We are seeking human intelligence combined with the software you use.
We want to see if your results are as good or better than ours that we get with the human intelligence added to the software we currently use. We may want results daily, weekly, or monthly.
If so, we are interested in contract with you on one or more projects, that can renew and be on-going. Feel free to do a simple complementary / no charge / or minimal charge web crawler project and send us the results. We would like the results in MS Excel, but are open to other options. Use of MS Office could be helpful, but NOT necessary. We are also open to the adoption of (and use of) whatever software you use in finding, viewing, sorting, and using results.
The more work you do, the more projects you do, the more fees we are ready, willing, and able to pay.
We are not looking for you to do work that we can use, but rather we are looking to see your ability.
Please indicate your location, average turn around time, and availability.
Here are a couple of sample projects.
a) Do a web crawl and find and report every time the company name or domain is found anywhere on the entire world wide web (In both English & Chinese). Just pick any well known United States based brand or well known infringer web site that lists a well known United States based brand and run it. Place the results in an Excel spreed sheet.
b) Separate from the above, the next level would be for you to do another sample project complementary / no charge / minimal charge in another area. Pick a major United States based brand that is marketed on the world wide web and do an anti-counterfeiting report, reporting the use of a protected / trademarked product name, mark, or related domain anywhere on the entire world wide web, on blogs, auction sites, etc. and ad in such as, but not limited to, typo-squatters, cyber-squatters, etc. This report can be done in English only, but English & Chinese preferred. Again, place the results in an Excel spreed sheet.
Also, if you have proven ability at web site optimization give details and / or examples. We are looking for your ability to improve web site ranking on major search engines.
We are ready right now to hire the right company or person on an on-going basis.
