This project is re-creating and improving the classified ad system seen at:

Project guidelines:
1. Must integrate into our new Joomla 1.0.15 site (please PM me for url).
2. This is a commercial system. All ads must be purchased. However, we will handle the shopping cart integration. It is NOT part of this project.
3. The existing system uses mysql tables; I would prefer that we use the existing tables but they're admittedly not the best design and you are free to re-design them.
4. We tried this as a modification to AdsManager but we weren't satisfied with the result. You can demo the unfinished mod (it's online) and if you can salvage it, great. However, you may have to start from scratch.
5. The existing code is available for your review, but has limited value because it is a defunct programming language.
6. You can work on our server. I will provide access to the server and the mysql tables.
7. Payment will be made through SL escrow.
8. Because we are behind schedule, we will pay a 20% bonus for completion in 5 days from acceptance of the project. We really need someone who can start NOW.
Here's the outline of the system:

There are two types of advertisers which require different ad entry systems. FSBO (for sale by owner) and boat dealers.
FSBO:
First is the ad submission form, plus an upload form for multiple images that creates scaled thumbnails and scaled full-size images using GD. Upon submission that data is inserted into the mysql tables, but the ad is not displayed online until it is paid for.
Order form options:
- Basic ad (required - does not include any photo uploads)
- Photo package option (sets flag in table to allow up to 8 image uploads)
- Ad of the week option (sets flag in table that features ad on home page, includes 1 photo upload)
A version of this form must also be used for ad renewals.
After successful payment a flag is set to make the ad "live."
Ads show photo thumbnails, have an inquiry form (see below), and a tell-a-friend form.
FSBO customers also require a form to edit or cancel their ad and manage their photo uploads.
Two emails are sent to the advertiser upon successful submission of an ad.
DEALERS:
Dealers buy unlimited ads but pay offline, so they bypass the online payment process.
Dealers run up to 40 ads or more concurrently and need a screen to manange all of their ads. Each ad needs the same editing/photo management capability as FSBO's.

BOAT SEARCH NOTIFIER
Records brand/model of boat a shopper is looking for, sends email to the shopper when a boat matching that description is added to the classifieds

INQUIRY MANAGEMENT:
Inquiries must be submitted through a form (not an email link). All inquiries must be displayed for admin review. After review, they are either (1) deleted or (2) sent on to the advertiser via email. Note: PM will not work for this feature, as shopper may not be registered users.

CRON SCRIPTS:
FSBO:
Daily cron sends email to advertiser at expiration - 7 days.
Daily cron sends email to advertiser on day of expiration, cancels ad (does not delete ad).
Daily cron generate report of ads where advertiser set flag for automatic renewal. We will create the auto renewal process.
DEALERS:
Monthly cron sends email to dealers who have not updated their ad in 30 days.
