Description: |
Several months ago we selected a company in India to help re-design our website. This company's design turned out very well, but the programming has gone four weeks beyond what they said it would. The language barrier is also causing problems. There is still programming that needs to be completed or re-done.
The project is a re-design of our website. For the last 2 ˝ years we've offered free family home evening lessons, object lessons, uplifting stories and reviews of wholesome movies. We had around 4,000 people visiting our website monthly. To cover our costs we are switching to a membership website that charges US$9.95 per year.
We have four pages that are still incomplete. All four require an Index. Our current webmaster has uploaded all of the files but he has not created the indexes correctly.
On our FHE Lessons page (see attachment) we want an Index that displays all 75 lessons (all are pdf files). The lessons will be grouped by topics and color-coded to indicate which age group of children it is geared to. Several of the lessons are listed under multiple topics. Ten of the lessons will be free and clickable. The other 65 lessons require membership.
We need the same kind of index for our Object Lessons page (see attachment). These lessons will also be grouped by topics, some under multiple topics. All 55 of the lessons (also pdf files) will be visible but ten will be free and clickable.
Most of the stories under the Stories That Teach index are just links (about 75 links) to stories that are found on other websites (with permission). The index from the current website can be used for the new website. The stories do not require membership.
The Movies That Teach page contains about 30 pdf files (see attachment) and will not require a membership.
We will be using PayPal to collect payment unless someone has a better suggestion for us.
Our webmaster has used PHP for the project. He supposedly set up a system where new members will instantly receive a code for their membership after payment. He also set up a CMS.
We need a company that speaks excellent English and can begin the project quickly. We are anxious to get online again.
We also would like a link to the old website on our “Under Construction” page so our visitors can continue to use the old site until we finish.
Please let us know your bid and how quickly you can finish the project.
Thanks!
