hello
I would like to get bids from different cities world wide on mailing letters (20 letters each of 1-2 page A4 sized) in your city/ state.
I have launched a service that lets you do this from place a to b but at cheaper rates. So your quote will be for sending 20 postal mails.
Job entails :
1. printing job from our site
2. sealing in envelope
3. clearly writing the posted by (your address for returns), from, and to address (provided at our site)
4. posting via regular mail, registered post or courier (fed ex, UPS etc depends on location availability)
optional price for extra page, price for 3 pages in all ... price per page if more than 3 pages, color prints (mention DPI and printer type for all),
Initially interested in cities in USA, India, Europe, South America, Australia, NZ, South Africa, Nigeria.
Please quote for ten 1 page mailings within your city.
Process to become involved -
1. understand requirements
2. provide your postal address and a phone number + time to call (your local time)
3. will call via yahoo for outside India and via landline for in India providers
There will be multiple awardees as we need folks for different cities. If successful you will be invited to bid in the next auction as well for round 2.
We will help with the site, software and advertising.
It will be according to local prices in other countries a baseline for USA can be got from the usps . com site
In India am looking for someone who can do this in the region of Rs.18/- for a 1 page A4 letter as postage is currently at Rs 5 for a letter. For 2 pages Rs.25/- and then Rs 5 more each additional page This is based on the fact that b/w printing costs Rs.3/- per page at the most good net shops these days.
Deliverables:
* print pages as specified (color or b/w)
* write block letters / print envelope
* add required stamps and post
*. proof of postage to address provided 2. entry in website 3. scan of delivery receipt 4. need to keep delivery receipt for 2 months and mail to us if needed ( we will pre-pay for postage)
Looking for folks on both sides of the Atlantic - USA and Europe, and India (other countries and continents too but these are the focus areas)

Example:
say i want to send a letter to a friend in Columbus, Ohio, USA from Bangalore, India. I login add the letter, pay.
you get the job, get paid 30% advance, print it, put it in an envelope write the To address i gave and post it with local postasge. my friend gets the letter, you get the delivery confirmation (online or a real document, update online get paid)
Time to do this: you need to calculate:
time to get a job via email, log in and print one page : 2-3 minutes
time to check if number of pages matches entry by customer (print preview each document):2-3 minutes all will be html, image or MS Word/ excel version 2003 or earlier.
write address , seal envelope : 4-5 minutes
add postage: ?
post in box?
login and update status as posted: 2-4 minutes
login and update status as done / issue: 4-5 minutes
Add cost of printing, postage. and give me a rate per page, and rate if there are more than 1 page in a job ...

am still developing the workflow (to allow a customer to view the status and for a partner like yourself to take up a job, print, mark as complete or post issues) but this is the basic page and concept (see last section "Why use this?" and process)
