Working with goemerchant as shop cart provider, need someone to create new website that is "wow" using pearl, mother of pearl and/or abalone elements. List of features includes: sorting by 4 categories at least [price and pearl necklace and black color, for example]; e-gift certificates, customer login/register, "if you buy this you may like this" feature, customer reviews, ability to use offline/online support service, at least 4 levels of categories/sub categories. Maybe flash on left nav bar; tell me why/why not you'd use. Maybe flash page later.

Also need new pages for media center, host a party, about/contact us, and a few more pages for added info. Make rss feed capable. And most certainly create so SEO functions are there, ready to go!!! Am clueless on how to do site; a real pro will know ins and outs of this in regards to how to design site, right? :)

Would like 1) examples of other creative sites, URLS, and 2) beyond obvious look of examples, upfront info as to whether you contract out certain services or not, and who would do that work and what is their experience, and 3) would like website somehow verifiable by outside source that coding is correct. I hear horror stories of poor coding work and it's hard for others to update! HOW can we avoid this?
