Description:	Hi Due to a large scale project taking up more and more of my time I require the help of a creative web designer to assist with the other clients in my business. I will also need help with researching new ideas and writing up simple reports containing suggested direction for new design etc. The winning bidder will have the following skills: 1. Design fresh original websites as PSD layouts. 2. Slicing to valid XHTL/CSS would be good but not a requirement. 3. Show me a link to your current portfolio outlining your involvement in the projects. 4. Ability to research new ideas based on my briefs, for example I might say "I need to design and build an online calendar, can you find some good examples and ideas for me including what programming styles might work best". Then write up your findings in a small report. 5. Ability to do small amends to existing site, this could range form changing a colour scheme to adding new images/pages etc. 6. It would be a bonus if you also had proven skills with print design but this is not a requirement. The quality of work I'm after should match some of the great looking sites on sites like: http://www.cssbeauty.com/ http://www.cssheroes.com/ http://cssvault.com/ http://www.smashingmagazine.com/ If you know these sites you'll now know the sort of quality I'm after. If you can't design to this standard please don't bid. Also, no customised templates allowed! Please bid quoting your hourly rate but then in a PM give me your ball park costs for 1 page web design along with your portfolio. Also please tell me what part of the world your are based. Initially this job is to take the pressure of my workload but if the partnership is a success I will look into marketing the services further and hopefully increase the number of projects exponentially.
