I am looking for someone with good mysql experience. Preferably dealing with over 100 million records.
I have 4 files that all carry the same format. I need help importing this info into mysql & making sense of the info, providing 2 simple mysql search queries after I can import the files into mysql sucessfully.
So far, I am able to import 3 out of the 4 files. The 3 files I have imported into the database are under 1GB in size. The one I cannot import is 5.9GB in size. It seems to hang my system, although it is capable of handling this file size.
The files I am importing must be imported every 24 hours. Same format & same info, however some of the lines in the files will have changed. I must then pull a report for all changes.
I would also like to be able to do a "keyword search" across the above 4 databases.
If you'd liek to bid, I can show you my databases & their contents. For future reference, here is the commands I am using to import the file into mysql:
mysql> LOAD DATA INFILE 'C:/xampp/php/file.txt' INTO TABLE table;
I would like help in comparing the databases daily.
