	Description:	Note: I am not familiar with different programming options and selected ajax only because I was required to select at least one in order to submit my project. I am open to whichever type of programming is most suitable for my application. This project consists of building a custom web page with a fully functional back office/online database for Synergy Workforce Medical Staffing, a new staffing/recruiting agency based in TX with a primary focus in medical staffing. My goal is to be able to run every aspect of my business online securely via my back office with the exception of accounting/billing/payroll. Let me give you a brief overview of what exactly this company will be doing so you can better understand the needs for this application. During the early development of the company, the primary focus will be that of per diem/supplemental staffing in healthcare facilities - primarily registered nurses and licensed vocational nurses. Majority of healthcare facilities suffer from a shortage nursing personnel and therefore must utilize staffing agencies to supplement their workforce. This supplementation is done on a day by day, shift by shift basis. A facility contacts the agency and asks for a shift to be filled on a particular day, at a particular time, on a specific unit. The agency then schedules one its employees to work that shift based on their individual availability. Consider this process while reviewing the requests I have made for this project. Once the per diem staffing portion of the company has been established, Synergy Workforce will then begin to develop a system for placing employees in contract/travel assignments which are contracted/full time positions for a temporary time, anywhere from 6 wks to 1 year. Synergy Workforce will make full time permanent placements as well. The web page should consist of the basic components of a business site: Home page About Us Contact Benefits Referral Program/Submit Referral Online Job Application (submitable online as well as printable version) Job Search Engine - broken down by type of assignment, position, specialty, and location with drop down menus (for ex. type of assignment: (either contract/travel assignment or permanent position) / position: registered nurse / specialty: intensive care / state: TX / city: Dallas) - Search results should be sorted by most recent post first and should serve as active links to specific job description Copyright Privacy Policy The back office/online database will be accessed by username and password and used for the following: Administrative e-mail Post jobs for search engine - preferably linked to corresponding client profile Store, enter, edit, and view candidate, employee, and client profiles Candidate and employee profiles can basically be the same form but simply stored in separate location but easily transferable if status of candidate changes to employee or vice versa Preferably, info from online job application automatically generated to candidate profile Ability to flag profiles for automated reminders to admin email on specified dates Ability to enter employee availability to work by date as well as ability to search database by dates available to work Ability to search employee/candidate database by name, position, specialty area, location, desired location to work Ability to search jobs as from web page Client profiles will contain significant info about facilities who utilize our services Ability to search client profiles by jobs listed, shifts available location, type of facility (ex. hospital, nursing home, clinic) Enter, edit, and view employee scheduling for per diem staffing outlining daily each employee that is working that day, what shift they are working (from what time to what time), and at what facility If possible, it would be preferable that the online database be integrated with an offline database and stored to a hard drive for back up purposes
