We want to know how best to modify prices of a tour on the fly, increasing them by say 30% or changing the currency.
Each tour is a record in a MS SQL table. The prices for each tour are contained in one ntext field of its record. Each tour's ntext price field contains an HTML price table that can differ in format and content for each tour. The price table of each tour is entered manually from Excel via an HTML Editor into the field of the tour record.
We want a simple way of parsing the ntext field, multiplying all prices in the price table by the same factor, then displaying these adjusted prices on the webpage. The objective is to avoid manual pricing and updating. The source ntext field should read, not changed in any way, during this process.

I have seen your requirement. Following is the approach of displaying data.
Create one more table in the database. Which will have Currency liek Dollar, Euro etc.. in one column. Second column will have increase price which will be currently 30%.So in case for each currency u want to have diff. rate u can have or same that also u can have. This give feasibility of futrure changes.While at front end only one join need to be done with this table base on cuurrent currency(30%).

I can complete it. What I need is to view in your database design. Your database structure might be wrong and hard to manipulate. I can make it more simple. Simple to adjust price, or simple to adjust the currency name and rate.
