I'm looking for something that's functionally equivalent of http://www.eggheadcafe.com/articles/20010713.asp that works in Firefox.

In essence, I need a facility for users to take a screen shot of their screen (or copy some other image into clipboard), and then to paste it into a webpage such that the webpage uploads it to an HTTP server using Ajax or some other similar approach.

This needs to be provided as source code (either under GPL or similar, or with full rights assigned to us), together with an online demo for us to test.

A significant bonus would be available if you can deliver a cross-browser solution that works in IE and Firefox and Safari.

Good luck.We don't think Flash can paste images, and Javascript can only paste text, so it's likely that an XPI or Java applet may be required. We think this is a really interesting project, and there's a pretty good budget, so get bidding!
