Talked to the programmer, he stated he could start fast. Got a second email a couple of days later saying he had problems with his connection due to the snow. Tried contacting him several times but never heard from him again. The project isn't even started.

never completed the work and stopped communication with all our follow up questions. if you use him, don't pay before it is all completed and you had time to test.

Quoted 3-days turnaround time. Then had a different excuses why the job was not getting done. Then just disappeared without responding to SL messages or emails. Wasted a month of our time with 0 work delivered. If the developer is not dead or severely injured there is no excuse for such behavior.
