Alveus started as an internet service provider and web hosting service in 1996. The name is pronounced Al"ve*us and is Latin in origin, meaning "a channel or trough". Our mission has always been to facilitate internet solutions to businesses and customers. Steve Kidd had a more then 10 year background in computers and sales when he joined the Alveus team in 1996.
