Lower Bids

Freelancers are charged a half rate to participate in a Featured project. This results in lower bids for you, as the freelancers are able to pass their savings on.

Serious Quotes

Paying the Featured fee upfront says "I'm serious about doing business" and will attract freelancers that provide serious quotes.

Freedom

Unusual bidding is allowed. Consider a Featured project if you are requesting hourly/weekly/monthly bids, trading, per-unit pricing, partnerships, or any other form of bidding not normally permitted under the site terms.

Post Contact Details

Posting contact details is OK. Normally not permitted under the site terms, Featured projects can exchange contact details any time to communicate directly (via email, phone, instant messenger, etc).

The fee to post a Featured project is $19. Your total cost is really $14 because you will not be charged the fee of $5 that applies to regular projects upon selecting a bid. More importantly, freelancers are charged half the usual rate, which will result in lower bids for you. Your investment in a Featured listing will save you much more money in the end.
